Description of the service dress

Ladies and Gentlemen (Small and large service dress) :

The uniform jacket, for both ladies and gentlemen of the CSLI, is dark blue with four pockets (two pockets for ladies), and shows (he CSLI Corps badge as a sleeve insignia in the middle of the left upper arm. (Old (gray and gray-blue) uniforms can still be used upon purchase of a new uniform!)

The uniform buttons of the COs are golden. NCOs and the rank and file wear silver-coloured (“cranked”) buttons. The rank insignia are worn on the lapel on a black background (golden framed for COs. silver framed with a silver crossbar for NCOs and silver framed for rank and files).

Dress pants without collar belong to the tunic for all ranks, staff officers (from Major and the equivalent officer ranks up) with a lateral red seam (Only the President of the LAZARUS UNION and the Union Commander in Chief wear red lateral ornamental strips). Furthermore a white shirt with Kent-collar and a mat-black, non-patterned tie complete the outfit.

All CSLI-ranks wear a black beret with insignia according to their rank and plain black shoes with no pattern. Generals, officers of the executive staff, Pilots, Navy Corps Officers and Staff Officers are allowed to wear peaked caps which are not available for all other ranks.

Each rank is wearing a black name tag with a green cross patty on it. All wear gray gloves after the pattern for COs of the Austrian Federal Army, three times quitted on the back of the hand and without any buttons. A standard waist belt showing the Maltese cross completes the outfit.

Own medals and decorations may be worn according to the principles of the Austrian Federal Army. In case of bigger events, medals and decorations may also be worn in the original size and form. (This will be set uniformly for each event).

In summer the service dress is not used. Members shall wear a short white uniform shirt with epaulettes (which are not surrounded by a border) according to the rank, a name tag and a white “American” undershirt.

In autumn or depending on the weather conditions, the summer dress can be completed by the dark blue sweater of the mission dress or by a short or long dark blue wind jacket with epaulettes and a name tag.

The Corps badge will only be worn on the service dress and the formal dress. It must not be attached to a shirt, a sweater or a windbreaker. Instead of the Corps badge the CSLI arm is used.

In winter time the dress is to be competed with a grey rain coat or a grey-green military coat.

Ladies (deviations):

Dress pants without collar belong to the tunic for all ranks; a waist belt is worn additionally. Furthermore a white blouse or shirt with Kent-collar and a mat-black plastron or non-patterned tie completes the outfit.

Tights are only allowed in opaque and black design.

Exception: For special occasions (this will be set uniformly for each event), women may wear a black 3/4 skirt covering both knees instead of dress pants. Black opaque tights and black leather pumps with an adequate height of heel complete the Outfit.
